Complete Streets: Designed with everyone in mind!
Overview
Complete streets are pedestrian, transit, and bicycle – friendly streets that provide safe and easy access for users of all ages and abilities, regardless of their mode of transportation. It is an approach to planning, design, construction, and maintenance of the roadway network that considers the surrounding land use context and travel patterns in order to balance the needs of all users. Project Description
The MAST Complete Streets subcommittee will oversee the project selection process for a Complete Streets mini implementation grant.
Time Commitment and Timeframe
Subcommittee members should expect to attend a minimum of two meetings. The subcommittee may choose to schedule additional meetings to complete tasks. In addition, subcommittee members are expected to spend some time outside of meetings responding to email correspondence.
